Stepping Stronger To Surrender

what stops
our surrender
standing on
the edge of want
what stands
in the way
of touch
wanting
so desperately
to let go
is it just
too many needs
veiled
transparent
thick walls
tight by fear
do we need
that pain-free
guarantee
to lock away past
providing future
to the moving on
and the going on
today
can we
take the time
to go on
