How it Feels

Do you know how it feels..
  The bird that returns to the feeder
    to find there is no food
  The plant that has been forgotten
    amd watered too late
  The child who has been abondoned
    and spends his life wondering
    what he has done wrong
  To love someone and
    know it will never be returned
