goodbye has to be now.........

It just felt like another warm augest night,
she went to a party with so friends,
all she ever wanted to do was sing,
but the night would bring her end,

when the time came and people we leaving,
she had chosen to go back home,
she got in the car, and left with her friend,
and now im writing this poem,

a light from up ahead,
closer it came,
the was no chance,
now starts the pain,

a call late a night,
a dads worst fear,
a rush to the scene,
one final tear,

a call out to god,
with her few final words,
i love you daddy,
is what she murmured,

She was off to heaven now, floating on her wings,
the docters telling daddy, im sorry she’s gone,
now in his dreams, he hears her daughter’s voice,
im ok now, i love you, but my story of life is done,

How can one read this and not get choked up by the plain emotion of a fear all parents have and none wish to experience...
Were it a submission, it would have my vote.
