How you got through? How you knew? Where to touch and hold? Where to find my soul? Kissed it Touched it Felt it Embraced it How did you get past security? How did you find a way to give me serenity? You even knew how to calm me Showed me truth, revealed your reality I was angry with you I just don't know how you got through Tell me Call me Please explain So I won't let you do it again. Next time you know it's gotta be forever I want us to be together I want to hold you Love you Tease you Embrace you Become one with you If it's not you I seek Step up and speak Let it be known I can handle it, I'm all grown After all God has a plan And I will understand In the end I don't want to lose a friend You see I'll let you be Let you see Me As I am Then you too will understand I saw you run away I called God, sat down and proceed to pray A voice within spoke to me Told me to let you be Let you come back when you're ready If ever you decide you were ready Patiently I wait For my fate That option I left for you You got me doing things I don't usually do You see, I like you Not afraid to admit I could even love you I saw that in your eyes that day and realized You're a gift, a true prize ~~::~Candii~::~~ |
