The Risk Of Further Drift |

I've played both sides for quite some time now Slipped easily into guise of demon but played the part of angel too Comforted by Hesse's hope and spirit but disgruntled by its futility in Heller's '22 Felt the warmth of life's embrace and the cold hand of death's loom Known the power of creating something and the weakness to let it be destroyed I have known all these and many more and perhaps its time to choose one side The choice of life instead of this... this slow decay To plant the roots and anchor or risk the further drift of me ____________________________________________________ The photograph above is an edited version of Jerry N. Uelsmann's floating tree. This poem was inspired both by Uelsmanns picture as well as Lyra's passing. Death has a way of reminding one to LIVE. |

Lyra would not only be pleased by your words, but by the photo as well... I thank you for this... and for everything you have read today. |

I like the duality of this, and the moorings coming apart and falling together again. Stella was a diver and she was always down. |

Dear Raffaele, I am touched by this beautiful creation of yours. You choose life. Duality will always exist, but your wisdom grows and you'll be able to tend more to the light than to the darkness. E tanti auguri ancora per il tuo compleanno di qualche giorno fa! Sei un grande Pesci! Un abbraccio. Margherita |

Hey Raph, This is the most beautiful poem of yours I have read. Friend, you are saying a lot more here than you may even realize yourself. BTW, Raph, I'm glad that you're leaning in the direction that you are....... Heart Hugs to you, Ethel |
