I and I alone At a intersection inundated with traffic without a recognizable face Perseverance Boulevard looks familiar I have traveled it with many-a-monkey upon my back Funny how we grow weary though Simplicity bores Family bores The only son bores For God so loved the world… A gift wrapped in reflective paper, abundant with gothic crosses and cherubic faced angels, clothed in natures finest, only to be opened and discover only bubble wrap and a crystallized, black, thorn-wrapped heart exuding red. blood. the color of love. Sorry for being the ugly duckling, son Maybe I want more more more than what you can give me me myself and i Ambition? Selfishness perhaps My mortal downfall Yet it is my mitochondria An Achilles’ heel to be sure as well Oh, dear son What tomorrow shall bring for you I can almost taste the blood, the love— Oh glorious day it is today The time to stay has long passed away the only people for me are the mad ones-mad to live, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at once--jack kerouac |

I thoroughly enjoyed this... Very descriptive of a very confused Dorothy. ~You might say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one... |
