After So Long,
I too will say goodbye to a life without God,
but once the roses thorny arms lift to pray.
I know this poem will be so true

As God begins to seek my soul.
As I begin to walk his waters.
Lost but now found.
A new person I am.

I never knew I could be so wrong,
an openning of doors,
a new beginning,
a forever,
when never is present,
a never when forever cannot be seen.

This is very heartfelt, very touching.  I was baptised as an infant and cried and cried, but I've seen a handful of baptisms preformed on knowing individuals, and it's nice... they seem to enjoy it more than I did.

Well written, Kellie.

Love the message and the poem

Baptism symbolizes new birth, the new life in Christ... what was once dead is alive again. I love this piece.. I hope it makes it in!

Oh, make me Thine forever
And should I fainting be
Lord, let me never ever
Outlive my love for Thee

this is very beautiful
I remember my water baptism well, declaring more firmly then ever the joy in my life and the God I was dependant on.
wahoo! hope this gets in.

Beautifully expressed, Kellie.

Kellie, you are a beautiful soul! I was so full of emotion as I read your words, that tears literally welled in my eyes. If you were close by, I'd give you the Biggest Loving Hug imagineable!
You are a precious person! God loves you---we all do! You lit up the page with your love, openess, and wisdom.

God bless you, Dear One,

Welcome home!
