This is about a girl i thought i would spend the rest of my life with...ahhh but love is blind... Love is Blind.... Remember when we said, we'd always be together? When we said, you and I would last forever? Now I sit here all alone, feeling lonely and crying. Feeling like my heart is somehow dying. Reminiscing on the times you said you loved me. How happy I was whenever you looked at me. Now, when I stare into the windows of the world I see an empty space. There's no one there to help me out, not one familiar face. I feel like I'm walking down a narrow path, don't know where I'm going. Never reaching the end of the road, my impatience only growing. Sometimes I see a light as I continue walking, could this be my way out? I'm finally at the end of the road, I took the right path but still have my doubts. Reaching inside to clear my mind of any thoughts of you. Somehow, I can't let go of my feelings; I'll never stop loving you. Wondering if your love is gone forever, never to be returned to me. Can you say that it's out of my life that you would rather be? What's the point of getting together if you're gonna say good-bye? Why even say you love me when you know it's a lie? Thanks to you, I'm stronger and I wipe my tears away. On that walk through the woods one gentle day in may. |
