~ By Sue ~ For two long weeks I looked For a job every single day And waited for them to call But, the waiting did not pay A tunnel of darkness I travel right through With no hope in my sight No matter what I do My faith is running out With each day that goes by Trying to hang on And asking myself - why I do the things I should do Trying to get back on my feet But, there are those times I feel like I am beat The bills are piled so high With no money to pay And I am beginning to wonder Just where I will stay 3-15-03 |
