This was written a couple of years ago, when I was just starting too write so if it's not very good I will understand. I thought I would post it to try and motivate my muse if I even have one.

Voices
By Paul Wilson

Voices I hear in my mind
Their origin I cannot find

They come to me time after time
Making me wonder
What goes on in my mind

Sometimes they bring back to me the past
Sometimes they bring thoughts I cannot grasp

They give me a glimpse of things to be
They open the door to my mind without a key
They show me a little of the future and how things might be

Most of these thoughts have no meaning to me
Asking myself why don’t they let me be

I can feel these thoughts in my mind
As they travel through my brain
Sometimes I wonder if I’m insane

The voices never stop I hear them when I sleep
These voices in my mind I will always keep

When I’m awake these voices fill my mind
They keep talking to me all the time
Voices whose origin I cannot find

I listen to them each day never stopping it would seem
Wondering is this all a dream

Are these voices also heard by you
What they mean I haven’t a clue
Never surprised when some of what they say comes true

Can I send those Voices too your house for awhile? My mind needs a break.

Paul - from what I've read of your work you do have a muse, and it comes out with each writing of yours... Congrats on being in the book...

I laughed at the statement about your missing muse. Hmmmm...perhaps mine is with yours and they have run off together!

inkedgoddess~ I'm with you on those pick 6 #'s, or maybe the Powerball numbers.If you hear any voices whispering those numbers I hope you share them with me.
