Men's Bible Study

The waitress moves amidst our years
with grace and sense
and flawless, shining scarlet nails
that so insinuate themselves
into our discussion.
She pours
herself
and with a smile
covenants that she'll be back.
Someone prays.
I watch her walk.

HOw's life treating you these days anyway?
I see you haven't lost the touch for words..and still write like I wish I could.. so I guess you haven't gotten too senile or fragile as of yet.. LOL...

seriously... good to see you back... and to be in your company too.

Hi Bob...it takes years of practice to look at something without looking like you're looking.  Enjoyed this!

Robert,

Made me smile. Enjoyed the imagery. Accomplished quite a scene with so few lines.

I suppose you were just nonchalantly admiring God's handiwork.

great poem, a slice of life moment encapsulated therein

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Passing shadows ... Yes...a "Kodak" moment. Thanks you.

Corinne....Thurber and White tell me that humor is the only way to survive the subject.

Pat....Kind words. Thank you.

Alyssa ...."Study"? ...What study? Chuckling.

Connel ..... thank you for appreciating.

Flower....Oh my ... you mention humor AND beauty. I'm blushing.

Virginia......God's handiwork? Yes, indeed. Non-chalance? Oh, but I wish. Smiling.

garysgirl.......Excellent question. I'll ask the others this week. Laughing.
