A Small Space An inexplicable longing drives my thoughts to a certain beach and rundown pier, to peek between pilings and the drowning beneath. When my Father died, I saw him there, as enigmatic as he was in life - dark clouds on a blue morning. And when I visited church that day, (where I first received communion back when I was faithful), the priest hurried off in swirls of black, ran when I begged him to unlock doors. When this trap tightens, holds me, a helpless hostage to dry riverbeds and a smoky summer existence, I escape, to hear an ocean inside. When this trap gets smaller, the corral that holds me helplessly inland, where riverbeds run dry in summer and summer means a smoky existence, smoke in the valleys and in my throat, Cor... you write with a heart heavy it seems to be again in places remembered...and places where the breeze off mornings tide..wipes the smoke and perhaps the tears away... just know, that if you never get there...the ocean inside is always there and a place no one can take from you... |

(sigh) Wow, what a coincidence, I am going down to New Mexico during Spring Break to the sacred church where they say perpetual light came from beneath the ground to the heavens and the soil is sacred! (big hugggssssss) I know perhaps I can translate His calling, but the whole interpretation can never be preconceived, it has to be experienced, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Park - always so happy to see you - and your work - ahem, where is your work? Hmmm? It's time to celebrate St. Patty's (I'll dig mine out if you dig out yours). Lass |
