Into the storm We know we’re wrong As the night departs Into a dark day Confronted once more Like ironic fate It’s been a while What have you done I don’t care You we’re the same as now The same as then But how come the strange silence We all have something inside In this historic triangle That we call our life The eagle has flown to better things We’re still here all the same Nothing coming, nothing going Down and drowsy, hyper and tiring But opposites, but the same The same age in the same age Of happy non caringness But meloncoholics who stand here Trying not to be miscasts We might be, might be not, who is But we’re company And we’re the only For terrible reasons Some day maybe bright Not today We’re all ungracious, untrusting But in this uncaring planet We’re all the same And the only sanity An unattepting and failed lot Have failed once more Each having no peers much Under different times Might have been different But this is it in a dismal space Of time and location We’re a dot But yet we’re a dot Sperari |
