Do tears have to hurt?
Is hurt always so bad?
Live is full of emotions,
some so exhilarating
that your soul has wings,
some so devastating
you want to shrivel up and die.
Yet in sorrows we grow strong
in the message of living.

In loving someone so much,
that they use it against you.
For ever attempt that you do
to keep them afloat
they have to hang on tighter,
taking you down with them.

Ripping the seam of your heart
from this futile frustration,
you send them on their own way
in hidden whispers of “I love you”.
Seeing them fade away, maybe forever.

So in lonely memories,
time ticks away hoping
that footsteps will be heard,
or feeling of a mother’s instinct
saying they are okay.
When all is almost lost
an angel who you bore,
says Mom, I understand now
and I do love you so,
as tears renew a bond never broken.

In the tears of a love
that says “I do”
never let it dishearten into any abuse.
For a little argument does not hurt,
for it may make the loving better,
but in mental or physical abuse
that inflicts wounds that never heal
it is so degradingly wrong.
For a wound does not have to be seen
to be in full view of memories.

Cuddle as Teddy Bears
making your friendship priority
in companionship mature together
for it is real easy to lust, easy to love.
But a chore to make it last a lifetime

In the love of a special loved,
as the wings of their angel prepare,
for they have seen their time blossom,
now willing to wilt away in eternal peace
on their ride to the Promised Land.

So tears carry the emotions
that hurt in the appreciation
of lives messages.
The answer is all over you
in eyes that see everything.

..don't know what to say but smile.
Ypuce showed well tears can be of so much more than pain. Though I remember being a little girl and only crying when I fell down and scraped my knee.
Guess now we just hurt when others fall too.
I like the reference to teddy bears! I love mine.

(big hugggssssss) Oh David, this is so beautifully heartfelt, sweet friend, this made me cry as so many of your lovely words do! (sigh) I have cried so many tears of sadness in my life that could flavor hundreds of meals with salt I feel, though I long to cry these tears on my wedding day or when I fall in love for real! This is wonderful, sweet friend, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!
