Walking alone Letting the darkness take me away I’m off to see yesterday To laugh at myself If you’d just cared I wouldn’t have dared To walk away Forget today I’m numbed to the outside Inside I’m warm And I don’t care I’m off to the other side I’ll meet you there You can cry at my windows Your tears will run down the glass And I can see you But you’ve forced me not to care So I’ll sit and leave you there You can be the one to watch From the outside And I’ll finally be inside Where I was always locked out By you I’d have cared if you’d let me I’d have loved if you hadn’t made me Turn to hate Turn away from my beliefs My world My sanity. small insignificant useless me |
