I can not look at you,
But to cry again,
Such a beautiful view
That causes me pain.
I see not just you, but memories;
This stage’s play, is tragedies,
This actor is not a hero,
But just part of the crowd,
Scenery to the show,
No word I am endowed.
Just move me across your stage,
While inside emotions rage,
Shuffling slow with head bowed
You see me not even in memories.

this extension of the "world as a stage" trope was quite cool.

these lines really stood out:
This actor is not a hero,
But just part of the crowd,

it is just so true today.

Thank you, passing shadows,
That I made you wonder means I was successful in this poem,
That pleases me

You've brought back many memories
if I could think
but once,
that the shy boy that reached out
and in my shy I could not see
that he reached out once
reached out once for me....

Professor...what insight...
what poetry....

what you are
holds books in me.
