Thoughts of You You just said goodnight I just left your side We said everything Yet there was so much unsaid Who knows what tomorrow has to bring Does the day even have me in mind As long as I have you by my side The world holds no chains I might have told you Maybe I didn’t need to at all Do you have to hear those words Can’t my actions tell you enough times Holding you until you sleep and beyond The rose on your pillow just because Running my hand down your back The kiss on the neck The candle I couldn’t afford They all mean one thing I should have said it then Maybe I shouldn’t say it now My whole world exists because you’re in it Nothing has meaning without you I know you want to hear them Ditto won’t work this time Only you know my heart It belongs to you For you anything I love you [This message has been edited by Balladeer (03-31-2003 04:49 PM).] |

Very beautiful Ringo.....its too bad how human nature restricts themselves......can lose everything if they aren't open and honest with one another. ALthough my poem was not written for a romantic partner......I still think it is important to share your heart with all those that are special in your life. |
