Silly Billy was the name
Of my pet goat,
He always did such crazy things,
Like try to steer a boat!

He even went to school one day
And sat in on a class,
He handed in a paper
In which he got a pass!

He always did amaze me
At that which he could do,
He even bossed the cows around
Once he learned to moo!

Billy was a happy goat
And fun to have around,
I'd laugh so hard, at jokes he'd tell,
I'd be rolling on the ground!

One day when he was hungry,
He ate my father's hoe
And soon my Dad was shouting,
"That goat has got to go!"

Poor Billy must have heard my Pa,
And all that he did say,
For then we heard the engine roar
As he drove our car away!

Dear Silly Billy,
I miss you very much,
I hope you'll write me letters
And always keep in touch!
