Gossamer Wings

Chasing images of my mind
Through all the terraces that bind
Through the bevel of bedevil
Through the hearts subsonic level

Can you feel the ghost of the deem?
Can you hear the sound of the scream?
Can you feel the wet of the dew?
Hear the set of the forming new.

Can your feet step one at a time?
And can you hear the bells that chime?
Can you stop everlasting chase?
Can you find the door of the place?

These are phantom of my alas
These are the demons along the pass.
This is the substance of my ID
This is the fire in the grid.

These are the phantoms fly my sky
With the gossamer wings of why

In the sheen of gossamer wing
in the dew of footstep's spring
'neath the willow of all recall
is where I stand in silent stall

for I would read the words again
of the love you gave, and then
I would read them to inspire
all the poets to seek yet higher...

thank you Sy...
for the butterflies

yes, I hear the bells in chime ...
resonating from your wisdoms rhyme.
yes, I feel the day's dawning dew of new ...
each morn as the sun rises upon versed view of you.

yes, I know the path to the place ...
it's just beyond our minds entwined in trace.
I've no fear of ghostly screams of deem ...
I'm safe here in our rhyme scheme dreams.

Let those phantoms fly on by ...
the sky will sigh and they'll become butterflies.
