October’s Dance I met you in my spring of life When love and life’s in bloom Danced our first night away Shadowed by the lover’s moon Love lent warmth to future plans As closeness grew our way Cradled in each other’s arms Absorbed in lover’s play Spring eased into summer heat And the wedding bells did ring Waltzing through our reception Floating high on lover’s wings Summer was now in full force Children gifted then our lives Deepening the love we shared As each new birth arrives Throughout summer’s days We ventured forward as a team Dancing in the warmth of life Living out our first daydream Every summer comes to end All fledglings must leave home As our children made new lives We found ourselves again alone Autumn is approaching fast Its chill warms our romance Cradled in each other’s arms Enraptured in October’s dance |

Brian Loved the way you seasoned life's changes, but throughout, kept the same straight road of love. |
