Your Loss

Dont shut me down
Block me out
You know just what to say
To lock me up
Close my mouth
Not to hear what I have to say

Your loss
I won't again
Share that part of me
Pretty soon
No more left
All locked away
To deep for you to see

It's amazing how deeply we can bottle things up inside and bury them from view ... you've captured this well Connie, much enjoyed!

Best wishes,

well expressed, we all have all felt those frustrations at times in relation to those around us.

Connie - I know this feeling all too well.  Sometimes, though, you bottle things up too deep, and later regret never expressing them.  I think I have a case of bottles at this point, buried deep within me.  Nice writing.

I noticed the date, July 2000. Are you still bottled up? Stick that bottle in the ocean waves and let it go.
