A feather soft articulates my emotions Still warm of potent summer potions Stretched out upon the greenest grass To float so lightly in the looking glass A fluffy wisp of down adrift to wave Still magical of silken touch to crave Slip satin in a brush across your brow To float lightly up into the wind somehow A feather plumes of tufted heartfelt whispers Still delicate of form to flurry daytime drifters Sent out across the space between to note A feather soft remember on the breeze to float Copyright Kkh 4/6/02 |
