The Thought song Silver and golden is it’s voice, Mauve and amber are it’s colour. “Close your eyes”, says the voice, soft and yet commanding. (I don’t want to, I want to…) “Let the muscles in your face relax,” (does the face have muscles…why don’t we work them out?) “let your chin, your mouth, your cheeks relax” (I want to relax..I am relaxing) “Let your shoulders go limp..your arms..” (What is this happening…I feel bliss) “…Your legs feel heavy and relaxed” (yes…but I want to move..I can’t) “Concentrate on the music..” (yes…it’s so beautiful!) “…imagine you’re sitting in a room” (no I am out in the open..) “a person is playing the piano live” (It’s the music that love makes) “she’s touching the notes softly” (yes, a subtle caress so sensuous) “Now imagine you’re walking into the greens” (I am flying…set free from discontent…) “There’s a white air balloon in tied to the green” (...that’s my soul…yet bound to the earth…her healing power) “The balloons quivering slightly as if it’s going to fly away” (…I am quivering with anticipation…I am sure nothing binds me today) “The cords are cut gently and the balloon flies away” ( I am free at last…earth lets her daughter free- me, to greater heights) “The white balloon becomes smaller..and smaller…just a white speck in the blue sky” ( I am lost in this vast blueness of love…to be a part of it, I have to give love…more love) “A yellow kite floats up…a beautiful one with a red tail” ( In love there is friendship…a molten yellow colour..) “The skies begin to dim” ( I strayed from my motive…I have to return) “You find yourself on the grass” ( Mother Earth embraces me to herself) “You can wriggle your toes if you feel like” (Awaken, she whispers, you have much to learn) “Then slowly sit up, if you want” (The secrets of the universe aren’t so easily learnt…become a pupil once again) “Open your eyes and stretch your arms above your head” (Don’t close your eyes to reality…it’s beauty and ugliness has much to offer..hold it’s ugliness near the mind..the beauty to your heart) “Okay thank you…now you can go” (Oh…just fifteen minutes…I felt as if it were eternity) |
