Phrasings

Fooling myself into thinking it Spring
Wrapping myself in the moons light
Spreading my wings beneath in hope
My lips still searching, words of taste.

Dwelling within each moments feel
Freezing my frame with you in mind
Sending a smile to each morns wake
Ever so carefully each step placed.

Knowing you are always there
Treading water, just as I
Reaching out for nothing more
Transparent wants divorce my mind.

Nothing changes perpetually
Perfecting words glossed in rose
Emptying the emptiness
Untitled to the feel I find.

Remembering the dreamfilled nights
Calling once again in thought
Musings two years seasons change
Eyes to gaze anothers view.

Recovering the moments lost
Moving on, tomorrows gain
Resisting jewels of yesterday
Gems replaced by loving you.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."

This morning, this speaks to me.

Duncan, I am bouncing here today, in my feelings...should be a beautiful Spring morning, but we have snow showers...and it's 34 degrees.

I am feeling better upon waking, having had a good night and then my coughing begins just when I am hopeful it is receding in occurrence...

and I am trying to dump my emptiness.. so I understand how you feel.

*s
thank you
Maureen
