Its All Left Up To Me

Designed for wear and tear
Whenever you enter
Toughened outside
With a softer centre

Designed to open and close
With exit and entry
Power given to me
Simply elementary

Designed to deny and rely
Hold or dispatch
Fasten or untie
Release or attach

Designed to save or erase
Run hot and cold
Fall or be lifted
To let go or to hold

Designed for high and low
Being here or there
Of mind and heart
Its being self aware

Designed to give and take
Agree or disagree
Who enters in here
Its all left up to me

(sigh) Wow, I love the parallelism you associated in your words, sweet friedn, it really emphasizes the main point you're getting across! (kiss on cheek) I too feel that it is all about accepting all that we receive, and learning from our mistakes so we grow ever wiser and make new connections to the web of worldly emotions!
