Daemon

A daemon seems to stay my way
And eats the shadows of my stay
I feel the battle’s gone full tilt
And I am in a stage of wilt.

I’m caught a web that circles round
That fills the air and lives the ground.
A field of lilies fills the glen
And daffodils won’t bloom again.

Weary lies across my back
Outs the candle leaving black
Numbing all the senses bare
And stifling the very air

My lance is down I feel a clown
The moon is up the sun is down.
I gallop at the circles edge
And have no favor or a pledge.

Allurements wings are sore with play
I cannot find the light of day.

Stinky-love...if I give you hugs and butterfly kisses will you smile and find your dragon's wile for me.

JM,
I'll pay a visit to my Isle
The one that stores my Randy wile
For those flowers of my mind
Are surely of another kind.

in retrospect I'm circumspect

Seymour darling boy, even when your muse is weary you still manage to lift the day. How do you chase the grey from the sky? Well, however you do it you succeed darling boy.

One day I shall read one of your poems and say Oh that’s not as good as his usually are? ………. And that day will be when the earth stops turning time rolls backwards, the sun falls from the heavens and the rain falls up.

Absolutely wonderful exquisite writing, I love it. Has the smile returned to warm your eyes and settle briefly on your lips? I hope so

If daffodils won't bloom again
I'll still have Seymour's trusty pen
To brighten a cloud-laden sky
And make me glad that I stopped by.
Questions pondered, demons faced...
So many varied subjects graced
With his attention... we all gain...
May his great talent never wane.

We reap what we sow and if all the tender loving care doesn't keep us from wilting, then I guess it's time to plant new seeds.
But I do know the disappointment after putting in so much time.
I really like that pen you write with Mr. Tabin.!
