Each day is Valentine's day

View me with a tender eye,
Not with words for they lie.
Show a smile, which of love speaks,
A gentle heart, which my spirit keeps.

I am not Michael Angelo,
I can not chip miraculously a marble stone
From which beauty is grown.

I am not Leonardo da Vinci,
I can not trace your curves and face
On canvas, giving eternal birth
To your inner grace.

I am not Shah Jahan,
I can not erect a tomb for my dove
To marvel the monarch?s boast
That mocks at common man's love.

Yet I too have a heart that keeps,
Memories old and promises sweet,
And a passion that silently sleeps,
To awake when we meet.
