yeppers you are one year older, and maybe it hurts more to get out of bed, but believe me, it does no good to fight it, and nope you can’t deny it, cause you…lady are the same age as me *g*

and yeppers I know this is late, but what's that old saying...not the ten cylinder one...the one that says better late than never..oh yeah...that's it ...better late than never *bg*

my suthern sunshine

Planting seeds of hope
in others, lifting them
when they stumble
she does with love and
without IOU’s.
One would never know
that she cries;
one would never know
that she hurts too,
she hides it.
But life is circular
her seeds of hope,
her gift of love
comes back around
in the hand of this
very lucky friend.

Thank you Jellybeaner, for bringing this to our attention! I have been lax, LAX mind you, in keeping up with birthdays, but doggone it all, I wouldn't have missed this one for the world!

Oh, my heavens. You caught me completely by surprise with this one, lady... for either this is very late, very early... or time is flying faster than I thought... I would have sworn that thing was still months away. *S*

But any day is a day for celebration when so much love is given... I thank you from the bottom of this ole heart, dear friend... you and I both know that stopping this aging thing was an option considered for much of last year... you know all too well those things that "one would never know". *S* And it's because of you and a few other diehards who refuse to stop loving me that birthdays will happen... and will be celebrated. *S*

I love you, lady... and if you expect any comment on this poem, you're outta luck... I'm embracing each and every precious word.

Some people will do just about anything to make a friend age faster, won't they... even throw surprise parties months before the fact? *G* One thing for sure... it IS a surprise! *G*

Thank you, Sunshine and Sven... I appreciate your good wishes and will save them for the appropriate time. *S* But it's not not NOT my birthday... I made my mama suffer through every minute of a hot and humid Louisiana summer... and then some. *G* And then I was born and she learned what suffering REALLY was. *G*

Well suthern, I take little responsibility for this party, it is all your fault *shakes her head* the other day you said something about a ‘missed milestone’ and it didn’t sink in right away, but then on the way in yesterday, I hit my forehead (you know how I tend to think in the car *g*) and thought, oh no, I must have missed your birthday…well the only milestone *I* have is my birthday, and since you are my o&o, I had to figure it was the same for you…and since I had no idea exactly when it was, I figured yesterday was as good as any to celebrate…it was either early or late, but the heart and wishes are still the same
I love you lady…..and I have given you plenty of tears to sop up, so now its time for smiles

and you know me…I share

thank you everyone for helping me make this wonderful friend smile
