The Can Can isn’t much of a dance Just a way to see a young girl’s underpants. She’d smack him silly with a rubber chicken, Before he could complain she smacked him agin. She couldn’t speak the language she’d only giggle She couldn’t dance but my oh my could she jiggle He juggled seven knives finely sharpen, The juggled the books and was sent to the pen. The advertisements called her the song bird of the south Her voice made you want to put worms in her mouth He told jokes designed to put a smile on your face He always went last because he’d clear out the place. Moolg just to show I can write other topics too |

Hey Gloom! I like you silly! This is a way cool write... especially since I grew up in a show biz family. (Am still in one too.) It was nothing unusual to have these kinds of entertainers visiting our home day and night, and juggling or performing magic out on the front lawn.. I really really love this, as it is up my alley, so to speak. You brought a smile to my face by bringing back a ton of memories... therefore I am claiming this and into my library it goes! BIG HUGS!! ~Nancy~ *bump* |
