Foolish By: Noah Eaton 3/25/02 You say you don't know where we're going Is the space between us growing? For weeks I have been eager to see you coming You are the girl I dream of loving But do you love me too? Between the lines I am scrutinizing Into the day I am improvising To know how you feel for me Let's be frank now I don't want to have to worry Ever, ever again And I try to be true I love you But I can't bear to be selfish Don't you love me Talk to me Or am I just being foolish? There are times when you slip away So inadvertently There are times where I say I love you But you don't say the same to me And I struggle to fall asleep I've built my fence around your heart Wanting to love you as you are With you I feel happy and carefree Is there something you haven't told me Could it be we've never had Anything at all...
