Remember when it was a dream?
Me pushing you
on the swings.
Simply love.

Now it’s often a maze.
We approach, we retreat
yet dance remains.
Simply love.

Still we are us.
How is it that everything’s different
but nothing’s changed?
Simply love.

Duncan,
Well...for one thing, the legs are longer and it's harder to swing you pulling your feet! Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I really like the style of this poem and it's message! I do, seriously it is so good.

Duncan,
you got it in one. Simply put but with deep wisdom. Simply stunning!

LOL@Larry's reply!  This is another great short piece Duncan...another where fewer words are more.
Happy Easter!  Hugs.

Love is so less complicated when it is kept simple.
It's either there or it's not and that sounds pretty simple to me.
And yes, I loved the simplicity in this Duncan.

Damn you’re good (hmmm, where did I hear that before??? Rofl)
Dreams heard in a lovers soul
Sung in tune to dreamers breath
Where love is the only goal
Dreamers always find their quest
Dream a dream and love it well
Hold it by a tender thread
Take it carefully from it’s shell
Voice it in a word unsaid

Dreams are simple, love is blind
Float on clouds from up above
Love  is meaning, hope is kind
Simple? No. Just simply love

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
