I am aware of people and their sensitivities of how a slip of the tongue can become offensive to those who are listening but a reader can skip a word now I do not like to hear abrasive comments aimed at hurting the feelings of someone making them cry or to feel ashamed but I never intend this in my writing sorry ok I have been edited again well it's ok because I don't feel bad I just keep writing and hope you do not get bored |

ok so no asterisks. well I will go with that but it seems a bit far to even edit the edited. No hard feelings, just was not aware of the "RULES" thumper did say if you can't say something nice say nothing at all so maybe I had better follow my own critique advice that I wrote on my member profile when I signed over my freedom, whoops jk I mean when I joined. I know it often sounds confusing, James, but it's not really. An obscene word is nothing more than a symbol with a meaning we all accept, something that paints an image in the reader's mind. If you change that symbol to something else, whether asterisks or whatever, without really changing the underlying meaning, it's STILL the same obscenity. Is a transparent mask still a mask or is it just decoration? We sorta assume people (including kids) are smarter than we are, so if we can figure it out, they probably can, too. 'Course, I'll be the first to admit that sometimes the subsequent edits aren't exactly opaque either, but you do what you can when you can. |

ok I have been beaten wth the dumb stick enough. Oh and Nan there is no snow in waterboro or anywhere else excpt for caribou-need a snowmobl for the street up norh of bangor |
