Looking For The Good Times
By: Noah Eaton
3/29/02

I have cried an ocean and salted my wounds as a commodity
I ate it up like an entree and I was still hungry
I was weary of going with the flow, all those currents made me hydrophobic
When to me there was no such thing as a love that felt so tantric

Don't make me feel ashamed, before all I had to cry upon was against a wall
My conscience used to guide me like directories in a shopping mall
Now I have a shoulder I can lean on, I swear I am fortunate
Don't get me wrong, I feel I've changed, I'm ready to keep on living

If I could meet you it would be wonderful
Let the good times come
If I could hold you it would be magical
Let the good times come
What could I give to save my life
And make you mine?

I want to be one with lifes simplest pleasures paparazzi
Shed my worries away with a paring knife and coddle my dreams
Train myself like a malamute looking to win a dog sled race
I'm ashamed to feel estrange but now I feel like Apollo seeing your pretty face

If I could meet you it would be wonderful
Let the good times come
If I could hold you it would be magical
Let the good times come
What could I give to save my life
And make you mine?

You can teach me to hone my love, I will fashion your heart with tiffany glass
I used to write the saddest poems before we met at last
I want to hold you and feel your loves sensation
Promise me you'll be mine forever, I can't afford another objection

If I could meet you it would be wonderful
Let the good times come
If I could hold you it would be magical
Let the good times come
What could I give to save my life
And make you mine?
What would I give to save my life
And make my life complete...

Noah,

you show the sensitive side of a man
as well as any I have read
a blessing to see your words.
