I have tasted the stone water
with your eyes
I have talked to God
from your mouth

we have worn sun money
as offerings to heart worship
and slept in the dark places
with shimmer warmth on our skin

yesterday was your day of heaven
you returned to your young woman sign
and unwrapped the gifts you had forgotten
I was the campfire to guide you there

I watched you dance in flame feet
and I heard your wall drum songs
on morning you brought me the head
of your love in your mouth

you kissed me with his soul on your breath
your hands touched my granite
you cut your breast ends on my jagged
we melted our pools of whisper

and spoke the words of a never die song..

I liked your ending most of all.
