Whenever……. Reach Out Whenever the sky looks too far away Or no one hears what you want to say When you can’t find the song inside Or wish to find some place to hide If you miss the exit on the road of pain And feel as if you’re going insane Whenever you feel alone and unsure And know you can’t take it any more Reach out to me I’ll help you through Reach out to me I’ll be there for you Whenever the day seems to never end Or you feel as if you need a friend If the rainbow doesn’t streak your sky And all you can do is heave a sigh If you feel that nothing ever goes right As if you are lost in eternal night Whenever you think you can’t go on Or the road you walk is far too long Reach out your hand, reach out for me Reach out I offer immunity Whenever you need a friendly touch Or the load you carry seems too much If the rain falls on you from up above If you think you’ll never find true love When you think demons call your name Or you feel you’ll never be free of pain Whenever you sob out sorrow’s tears And you feel trapped by nameless fears Reach out to me and take my hand Reach out to me, I will understand Reach out to me, to find your way Reach out to me, I’m here to stay Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |
