The War

The black rose grows strong,
As the light
Breaks the darkness,
Pride in their hearts,
And thoughts fill their heads,

The glory of knowledge
Breaks bonds of restraint,
Freedom befalls them,
And the shrouds are removed.

Silence falls upon the heaven,
As the fallen meet their maker,
And astral hosts meet dark legions,
Angelic bodies stand eye to eye

Fury and hate
Fill the heavens with thunder
As the hordes clash in anger
And the fallen seek revenge,
As they scramble from Darkness,
Led by the light.
