In the space between moments

Ruminative Soul-
Languishing
as an adagio
melody-- Slowly,
painstakingly
dredging up
the bitterness
of self-doubt...

I am careening--
Falling forward,
out of myself
and whirlwinding
-Downward-
Into the shadows
of a sickly, sallowed
sunset...

These are my moments
Of hated frailty...

But darkness is capricious
And soon
I cradle myself in peace
And thus
I become once more
an Illuminated Spirit.

With an attitude like this, you'll always find your way back.

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this is such a sensitive and touching poem, sweet freind, my heart goes out to your tears but I know with all my heart you will find the peace you seek and love and comfort will ease your heart! (kiss on cheek) This is beautifully bittersweet, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Krista, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I absolutely love this poem, my dear one. I feel that adagio melody pulling up all the darkness within me. We've all felt that but, few in such beautiful language.

"These are my moments
of hated frailty..."

But they only highlight your strength and Illuminated Spirit more

it is that illumination that makes us more than we are. . .

very spiritual and introspective. . . well done. . .
