Embraced By Memory Of faded conversations My mind began to play Strolling on every scene Memories tucked away Remembering the times When sharing with you Footsteps into fantasy Was brought into view My mind paints scenes Colouring the memory Then I re-live the glow You had brought to me Had it been a mistake In me feeling this way Cherishing the thoughts Where memories play Each fibre of my being All the chapters I write Provided me tapestries When love shone bright Often I’m found gazing Mind longing wistfully Held in special places Embraced by memory Hope © 2002 |
