Welcome To My Soul
Come in, sit and mull.
Kick back and rest the bones,
hear with me the world's moans.

Tell me... why are you hear?
Out in the back - the keg of beer?
What are you looking to find?
Here, you and I, in my mind.

It's complicated in the maze,
in me passion's ablaze.
If you must, wear a fire suit...
Hopefully I'll set you on - the point moot.

Shelf after shelf of ideas,
ideas, images, and mama mias.
Good 'n evil rest in the beds,
my battle against evil often in my sheds.

Up on the mantle a portrait of Christ.
And now and then a longing for a tryst.
Both ends of the pendulum,
in this, my condiminium.

Eyes toward the future;
for me, at times, it can be a blur.
Over there my control center
in the files memories of a winter.

Love has rested in the den,
like a tiger in a too small pen.
Regret has passed through,
it does though nothing only making blue.

In here anger rarely lurks.
After all, with it, you end up like the jerks.
Day by day, and night by night,
trying to find my way around here by passion's light.

Walk around and please do browse,
Find out about me - see why I choose what I choose.
For me, for you, there is nothing to loose.
Here, in my mind's eye, my soul's house.

Welcome To My Soul
