Secret Love AMK 3/19/02 If only we could share this secret of our love I wish those around us would only understand It's torture on a soul and heart to hide like this All we want is some support and love, is that too much to demand? We have to sneak around to see one another For fear of what people would think if they found out Our love is so wonderful and amazing We are soul mates without a shadow of a doubt But living an alternative lifestyle Sometimes proves harder than one would think My parents know the truth about me, but yours do not I guess it's our time now to either swim or sink Take my hand darling, as we confess to the world our love The road may not be easy in fact it may be hard as hell But come whatever may We will be together my love through this secret we must tell When the dust settles and reality comes crashing in I'll still be captured by the love you give to me Living without you I'd die on the inside So we must fight hard to keep this love burning When you get scared or feel alone I promise I will be there I'll be your cherished lover and friend Always around to show you I care You fill me with a love and joy I've never known I'll do anything to keep you by my side So when the insults and hard times surface Hold your head with both love and pride "you can't stop the rain from pouring down can't stop the world from turning 'round can't stop me from loving you no matter what you do [This message has been edited by Aimster (03-19-2002 10:35 AM).] |
