Do not hold these words
too tightly
for they may crumble
and in dried petal fall
litter woven carpets
with fragments
of how I feel.

Cradle gently
the essence of each

laying them softly between
the now and then
that I might be
preserved for yet
another season

Ron..for a poet, words are feelings and fragile.  I have walked gently through yours. I do like the way you write!

so I will press them between the memories and dreams and place them in the now of my library for later pleasure for then.
love this one poet sir.

Of all the things in me I could never be,
of the true I kept hidden from view,
the best parts of my heart ...
were the ones touched by you.

I sprinkle those  words like rose petals
covering my sheets, to lay and dream each night upon soft thoughts

Ron, I danced softly, down, around and inbetween your words...ever so carefully and gently.  For I enjoyed them too much to crush them.  Hugs.
