So Much Skin a Song

There is so much skin
that holds the fluid parts
within the whisper of internal seam
sometimes a scream
a sigh and whispered question why
do not cascade in waterfall to clarity
upon the sun baked pond
so deep so deep the troubles my heart keeps
yet sweet with bliss stained lullaby

There is so much skin
That holds the bones of old
Within the cry of breaking dream
Sometimes it seems
An echo bounced on answers sly
Does not repeat in current of eternity
Upon fabric printed time
So long so long the memories remained
Yet sweet and bliss stained lullaby

There is so much song
That begs in mind be taught
along with croon a feeling
danger fraught
that sweet anticipation's swept
within this pale peach of skin
to sink to sink with whim of open gown
the fabric catch of dream
in lover's song
_____

with thanks to River, for running through

(smiles) Awwwwwww, I know this lovely feeling ever so well, sweet friend, I too anticipate to be touched by the beauty of true love with the girl of my dreams and feel the song of her heart to mine! (kiss on cheek) You always weave such beautiful songs of romance, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I dont know whats in that river...but send me vials of it PLEASE...
this is DEEP!! (no pun)
and this is exquisite...and I am so loving the subtle rhyme flow of this.
Beautiful thoughts!!

Of all the things in me I could never be,
of the true I kept hidden from view,
the best parts of my heart ...
were the ones touched by you.

Martie-
I really have to get busy and start reading more.
You're reminding me of what I've been missing.
This is absolutely beautiful, my friend.
