Such a busy, busy time of year
Two more weeks till Easter’s here
For a rabbit, there’s no time to spare
The most hectic time for every hare

Why to color the eggs with pinks and blues
And the marbled eggs of varied hues
Perfection is expected ~ nothing less
Precision in counting ~ no time to guess

Peter Cottontail set the standards high
Causing many a bunny to heave a deep sigh
But boys and girls are counting on us
so there’s no time to grumble and fuss

You have to make sure the paint is fresh
And decide which colors will be the best
Some years it’s yellow ~ others it’s blue
Only the most popular shades will do

The eggs must be boiled, then cooled just right
You can’t crack the shells as you hop at night
They must be delivered by early morn
And gloves or mittens are always worn
The eggs must be handled with special care
So much responsibility for a very young hare

But Papa always says to remember the reason
That people celebrate the Easter season
For God loved man and sent His only Son
To die on a cross and forgive everyone

But the best part of the whole Easter story
is Jesus rose from the dead in all His glory
So it’s a wonderful time to deliver colored eggs
Even though all the hopping tires your legs

But Flu Flu feels it’s the least that she can do
For a Savior who died for me and you.

HOPPY EASTER TO ALL

(smiles) YAY!!! Oh my gosh, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I too always see the egg as far more than just a candy, I see the yolk within is like the love that will always exist, that Jesus returned to us and fuels each new life with love and hope! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much, God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Cheryl, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
