Gothic Begonia
Potted, hanging, growing dead
Your life's in question

Red hearts flying high
Cyclamen cycles through sky
Forward and reverse

What marriage is this?
Not the first one, Bridal Veil
Tainted love, for sure...

Hello, Hibiscus
Looks like you've had the biscuit
Your roots are showing

Still dressed for Christmas
Poinsettia celebrates
Bursting, vibrant, red

~~~~~  ~~~~~
Notes:
I know that some would argue that this is not true haiku, but senryu (though, this collage of haiku does seem like haiku).  There's that stuff about not allowing self/human element into the haiku...believe it or not, I've even read a great book about these distinctions, and I only got more confused.  Anyway, these are some "Ku"s.
RE:  tainted love --
I don't mean to insult 2nd marriages...got one, myself...I do hope my Bridal Veil plant perks up, though!  It's the second one.  And, it's been rescued from death once already.
I never could write without the human element-why else write? I loved your series of haikus or whatever they are. I don't really care, as long as they are as nice as these-gave me a smile.
I agree with Nan...it doesn't matter what they are....they all put a grin on my face and thats what really matters.
I especially loved the one about the Poinsettia.
We seem to share an enjoyment of more formalized styles.  They might be senryu but who cares, the object it to express yourself. Keep it up.  I enjoyed the read.
