Crimson and gold
are colors so bold
they jump out
and shout
Hello to you.

Green and blue
sometimes can be cold or cool,
like icy blue streams
and pillowy green moss,
or scrumptious plump blueberries
near swaying willow trees of pea-soup green,
that turn sunny gold when days become cold.

Red raspberries sweet and yummy
with milk will fill up your tummy
with such happiness and warmth
you would think they were as yellow
as banana peels or tart lemon.

Of course there are so many other
flavors and scents
that color our world,
it takes a rainbow of tasty treats,
the kind that fall from windy wrappers
after a thunderous rainstorm
to begin to describe the color wheel.

And the aurora?
I call it my Rainbow Dancing Lights,
and the blues, greens, reds and purples
that swirl and dance amid soft creamy whites
in winter's midnight blue Arctic sky
are such a magnificent color ballet,
if I could I would
send one your way today
to encircle your body and soul
with soft,warm golden dreams.

This is for Jaime in Denver, who can see and feel colors with his heart, touch, and imagination, and who is fascinated with weather phenomenon. And who holds my heart in his hands.

And this is also for Mysteria, Tracey, and Mistletoes Noah, who have helped me see through the colors of fear and frustration this week, to see the colors of bright light and friendship glowing  in a light I've never seen before. Thank you, dear passionate friends.

Kacy,
Well...I can see I've been shirking my duties! Where was my head? That was rhetorical. Incredibly fabulous write. And no I'm not sucking up. I suck at sucking up. Hope everything is okay...I really do.

And by the way... notice who is here for you when it counts!

I’m sure he’s feeling that color ballet you’ve sent his way today. What a beautiful poem Kacy. You know he’ll love that you sent this to him. I know I love it. So glad your tomorrow was filled with such a beautiful rainbow after the showers of your yesterday.

Beautiful Kacy....
tell Jamie to post some of his special poetry...seems like its been a long time since I've seen his name here.

Of all the things in me I could never be,
of the true I kept hidden from view,
the best parts of my heart ...
were the ones touched by you.

Kacy this was spectacular!  I have seen the lights and stood atop a small range of mountains in Alaska once, and yes, was absolutely speechless! I (sort of am) now too, as no thanks are required from one friend to another, friendship just is Be happy, and let's hope he shows up soon.

Thank you, each and every passionate poet. The warmth of friendship here at Pips is as spectacular as the dancing northern lights.
And for Jaime, I send you all the colors of the rainbow and the aurora mixed together, tied up in a bundle of happiness from Passions poets, secured by ribbons of Love.
