Celestial Coast

Upon eclipse of shadows bare
of scripted souls in rainbow air
my venus lips do kiss your skin
to taste the dance of heart's begin.
You sail us slow across moon light
to coast the sky within the night
on sheets of space that sigh anew
lost in your stare of sparkle blue
of cosmic eyes that flit and flirt
in roused recall of past revert

You are my mars of swoon ignite
I am your quench of thirst incite
you drink my waves of inner sea
to surf the tide inside of me
of love in all it's reverie
in splash of serendipity

You are my sun beyond the night
in planets mesh of heaven's plight
at yawn of dawn enwrapped in glove
on wings of fate with cupid's dove
I know our bond shall last through time
for, I am yours as you are mine

Ah, as sweet as honey, and I love it when you mix these romantic poems in with the dark too.  I love them both and you do both emotions so well, but lady you are the queen of romance and this is proof!  (and yes, send the links I like that - saves me looking LOL

rhymes divine melis...
love this romantic, soulmate theme your muse is singing and the cadence made it a pleasure to read aloud.
You make me smile when you write like this

Of all the things in me I could never be,
of the true I kept hidden from view,
the best parts of my heart ...
were the ones touched by you.

Melissa I am supposed to be leaving for work, and this title caught me. This is incredibly beautiful. I love your writing, both the love lost and love found type.

Beautiful Melissa...simply beautiful! All the elements combined and spun into a delightful romantic sonnet...enjoyed!
