Perception Of Deception There’s truth and there’s truth Understood a falsehood Conception birth of honest mirth Obviously wrong Not truths heart song Why the softened sigh The silken net of Deception Perception of lies Causes honest why’s Then heart’s shatter In splatter of pains Gain No truth or trust Just to unjust There are lies and then there are lies Except this precept Shows that those Who suppose Assume a pose To fit this concept Of betrayals shame is no game Nor do they give to live With hope of true Except those few Whose trust is bent By what isn’t meant There are a few who spin the facts To the efficient max Show unconcern That hearts do learn The pain of this betrayers kiss Whose touch is certain To deceive in weave Of truths or lies Held in softened sighs Krissy And while thy willing soul transpiers |

Krissy, you little philosopher, you! A short time ago you were just trying to make two words rhyme and now you are coming up with elaborate rhyme schemes conveying deep thought with a myriad of emotions! Very impressive!! |

An incredible write Krissy! The use of the internal rhyme mixed with twisted truths and half-truths to get to the real truth...blew me away! This is certainly a keeper! |
