Rewards of You
By Larry Chadwick

When life is somber,
And I feel alone.
I like to reflect,
On what I’ve known.

It gives me reassurance,
These thoughts I recall.
They keep me centered,
And help to avoid a fall.

I recite the memories of us,
And how I have changed.
Things are so much better,
Now that I am rearranged.

The loneliness departs,
As I dwell on you.
There is what we have,
And possibilities that are new.

Interesting how my pain subsides,
As I forget about myself now.
Why did I look into the mirror,
Instead of your direction, anyhow?

This moment has now passed,
Reclaimed by knowing you.
Part of the rewards I get,
For sharing life like we do.

(sigh) Oh Larry, I think every one of us can relate to this kind of retrospection, I feel like such a fool when I first go back and reflect upon the torment I experienced in the past rather than enjoying the ride of what's to come, but nevertheless I realize that I can compare myself from before than I am now and realize how I have become the compassiuonate person I have desired to be and I have come so far! (big hugggsssss) This is fabulous, sweet friend, you are a true delight to us all, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Awww, this is so sweet Larry. She must be a wonderful lady indeed to inspire this love and adoration.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
