Style

goosenecked
stretching
you caught my gaze
I caught your swoon
How can eyes: robin egg blue
Burn with such a Flaming Red?

Mind Flames

empty in repose
wick waiting to be lit
match head about to be struck
my mind ignited
passion burns
~ slowly ~

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Love In Anger

only you
take me to world's edge
a grievous touch
You Loved Me In Anger
Now
Take me in excitation!

Jeff Hi there it’s Krissy (Mushy’s daughter) this is wonderful writing. Mum told me to watch out for your writing saying it was excellent, she’s right it is. Wonderful writing. Well done, I haven’t tried a twenty or less yet but I might. These are very good poems

Wonderfully done Jeff, your work has style and grace, you're not just a pretty face.
Keth.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Vic!  Oh Myyyyyyyyy gawrrrrsh! Didn't mean to make you hhhot!  Just meant to. . .
uh. . .stimulate the brain cells a bit.  Thankx so much, mon ami, for rescuing my
poem(s) from an early death!  hehehe

Nance:  Hey gal, from the basketball capital of the world.   Why bake one pie,
when three will do??  *s*   You really think this was a Success?  Cooooool!
I really need to concentrate on my short poetry.  I just feel guilty if I don't write
at least 2 paragraphs or so.  Have a wonderful Sunday, and take care!

Ivy Rose. . .how could a rose be any sweeter than an Ivy Rose?  *grin*
I tried, Rose!  Gave it my best shot!  Thanks for the approval notice!

Sunshine!  So nice of you to say that!  Far from perfect, but hopefully
at least interesting!

Krissy, this response just floored me.  Made me feel worthwhile; kind of like
when a favorite teacher finally recognizes your work on a project and claps
you on the back with a smile!    Your unexpected reply was one of the single
most satisfying responses I have ever had!    Someday I hope to repay the
kind favor.  Be well, Krissy, and your poetry is wonderful, full of depth!
Keep at it!  You are full of talent!

Evening Noah!  How goes it this fine day for you?  Once again, your generosity
in replying and reading so many poems is flattering and admirable!   You are
the type of person that makes a forum tick, Noah!  Thank you Buddy!

Kethry. . .I guess it's a good thing you can't see the Red Face behind the screen
after your reply!  nudge   Normally, I think, I take some ribbing from folks for
giving them a headache from deciphering the poems!  hahaha
Thank you. . .from the bottom of my heart!

Thankx Y'all!  and come back again!
Jeff
