Knock Knock

Now my day so sent
across the miles with words
some bent yet bloom intent to color
at the door of what for

will you listen then and take my hand
for I speak what is inside
of me so unsure at times of glance
that seems to take me in
but chance is life just waiting for
someone to open up the door

to pour something worthwhile a smile
to stay awhile and catch the evening breeze
that floats across each life such need
that blossom spring with breathing in
and exhale what is friendship seeds
